“SOMETIMES LIFE BEGINS
THE VERY MOMENT
YOU THINK IT ENDS”.

Have you ever had changes in your world that were so big, that life didn’t look anything like what you imagined or planned it to be?

Have you ever loss yourself in what people thought of you so much that you didn’t try to be what you really wanted to be or show the real you?

This snapshot is a look at my journey and life after retirement. My life as an empty nester. My feelings about it and how I gained back a “me” I really wanted to be. A me that is not defined by my occupation, my looks, my social status or other people.

Here, I challenge myself to be renewed. I challenge myself to go to new places, meet new people and try things that I never would have tried before.

I challenge myself to release my pre – conceived thoughts of how things should be.

I challenge my self to release the thoughts of doing things only as I was told they should be done.

I challenge myself as Toni, to just go, be free, have a good time. be a good person. I challenge myself to be a tourist – ToniTheTourist.

I hope my story helps you challenge yourself to try something new. Challenge yourself to find out what you really like and who you really are.

Challenge your self to no let time slip by you. Challenge your self to not let anything get in your way of happiness.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that life continue after retirement or when your nest is empty. Not only are retired, happy and free, but you can also be renewed.

Its true.”Sometimes life begins the very moment you think it ends.” What do you think?
